We are surprised to discover that Vigo is not a small city but a widely urbanized one. The bay is invaded by ugly touristic buildings. Only the surrounding islands seem to have kept a wild aspect. The halt in Vigo allows us to phone, fill in water and gasoline tanks, do some shopping and visits and above all, to SLEEP !

After 2 days, we leave Vigo to go to the Cies Islands (10 miles away from Vigo). Located in a national parc, they keep a rich nature and very nice but not very touristic beaches.

We are 6 boats : 1 German, 1 from Netherlands. 1 from Norway, 1 English, 1 from Spain and us. The water is transparent but a bit cold to swim in. Thomas fishes our very first fish ! A Makrel.

We take a day to walk on the nearest island and climb to the light-house on the Monte Faro. From there, the panorama on the bay is wonderful.
